The world solves problems. But I am here to build a fun place for you on the internet.

I'm Imtiyaz Ahmed, a multidisciplinary designer building UI-first products inspired by the 90s internet era, when things felt weird, intentional, and made for people.

Engineer by training, designer by surrender.Art kept interrupting my logic, so I let it win.

Imtiyaz Ahmed

I joined design to build products. Then I threw out the rulebook and started making things playful, strange, and human again.

Now I build systems with structure underneath and mischief on top, because the internet became too polished, and not weird enough.

As long as I can keep building, I'm good.

A selection of things I've built over time - some finished, some experimental, some still evolving. Only the ones worth keeping.

This portfolio was built more on feeling than rules. Weird interactions, tiny details, retro textures, playful motion, and an unhealthy amount of time spent tweaking pixels in Figma.
